A PSN bug that has to do with a “date miscalculation” has caused 8001050F error codes, game crashes, corrupted trophy info, and even the complete inability to launch certain titles on PS3′s.
Some sources say that it is caused by an “improper handling of leap years.” This is a lot like the Bricked Zune issue.
Now, Sony says you shouldn’t turn on your old “fat” PS3 until further notice. Supposedly, PS3 Slims aren’t affected.
All I have to say is WOW!
